Higher Vocational Colleges Campus Safety Problems And Counter Measures In The Process Of Research

With the increasing numbers of the staff and students in more and more higher vocationalcolleges, how to ensure campus safety has become an important topic of public concern. Thispaper expounds the importance of safety management in higher vocational colleges, as well asthe relationship with the idea of "harmonious society". Through the analyses of campus securityproblems that exist abroad and at home, this paper also summarizes the features of securityproblems and discusses the countermeasures of improving security management frommanagement and law angle. That is, to strengthen protection system, perfect work normalsystem, establish emergency management system, and set up evaluation system.To achieve “peace campus”, first, we should establish campus security managementprotection system, and grant security management institutions some permission to suit theneed of disposal of security problems. Second, the duties of security management institutionsshould be made clear, and the implementation of security management should be guaranteed.Meanwhile, campus security management institutions and the culture construction of securityshould be perfected and strengthened through integration and high technology. Finally, the mostimportant thing is to strengthen emergency management system in terms of management team,early warning and monitoring system. In order to set up “green campus”, we should constantlysum up lessons and experiences, make full use of the theory of management science and law,and improve the safety management system in higher vocational colleges.
