Research On Application Of Project Management In Excellent Courses Of Secondary Vocational Education

Since the decision of The State Council on greatly promoting vocational education reform and development was issued, many provinces and cities have carried out this policy conscientiously. At the same time, the vocational education is strongly supported. As a part of vocational education, secondary vocational education actively build some excellent courses to improve the teaching quality. But, there are some problems in the process of excellent courses of secondary vocational education. In order to improve the quality of excellent courses, this paper sum up experience and try to apply project management theory to study an excellent course so that we can allocate the limited teaching resources.From the present situation and characteristics of the construction of excellent courses, based on literature collection and analysis, this paper studied some problems in the construction of excellent courses. We apply the theory of project management to study the excellent course construction. As an example of excellent courses construction project:the excellent course "Running an Online Shop" of NingBo Economic And Trade School, we use the theory of life cycle of project management in excellent course construction. By this example, we know how to use the theory of project management to manage and initiate a project, project plan, project implementation and project close-out and so on. Finally, we introduce some suggestions how to use the theory of project management to manage the excellent course construction depend on experiences. Those suggestions may help other teachers in excellent course construction.
