Ruler Issues Under The New Curriculum Standards

Ruler and compasses is originated in ancient Greek mathematics topic,it has a long history and greatly influenced the development of the rest of the mathematics.The problem is not only closely linked with our daily life but also runs through our entire middle school mathematics textbooks.Besides,it appeared in various provinces and cities in the college entrance examination many times.It also plays an important role in the current middle school mathematics course.The main contents of thesis:(1)The origin of the ruler gauge drawing and the three famous problems.(2)the problem of draw regular polygon with ruler and compasses.(3) introduce several methods draw with ruler and compasses commonly used.(4)On the new curriculum construction to discuss the educational problem of ruler and compasses.The main research methods:literature,analysis,the combination of number and shape.In this thesis,the selected case closely connected with high school knowledge.
