At present,the revision of the ordinary high school mathematics curriculum standards puts forward six core mathematics literacy,and points out that the ultimate goal of mathematics education is to develop students' core of mathematics.Mathematical logic,as one of the six core literacy,plays a vital role in the formation and application of mathematical knowledge.The most important basic idea that mathematics relies on is logic.So learning how to develop students' mathematical logic is the most important thingConstruction with Ruler and Compasses means a lot to developing students' mathematical logic.Research and evaluation of students' mathematical logic can not only make it better for Mathematics education research but also is of great instructive importance to mathematics learning and mathematics teaching.In this research,we used the mixed research method.Through careful consideration we determined the content and criteria of the questionnaire.We have structured interviews and non-structured interviews with students,to study the logical thinking ability of the students in the construction with Ruler and Compasses and the lack of mathematical logic ability in teaching.We hope that through the study,we can help students to improve the learning method of the construction with Ruler and Compasses.Thus,the ability of logical thinking can be improved.In this study,some students in Jinchang Experimental Middle School in Suzhou were tested.Through the analysis of the test results,the following conclusions were drawn:(1)From the percentage of the expected level of the students' logic ability,the majority of the students are at level 2,the students' Mathematical logic ability is not very good;(2)In teaching,there are advantages,but also need to improve in the teaching of the Construction with Ruler and Compasses,but also need to further strengthen the guidance of students' Mathematical logic.Based on the problems students have in the process of mathematical logic,the author gives the teaching suggestions to improve junior high school students' mathematical logic ability for reference.
