Cultural Construction Of College Associations Under The New Media Environment

With high-speedy development of modern science and technology, various forms of new media, such as micro-blog, podcasts and wechat, are changing customs and ways of people’s life, so to speak, human society is entering a era of new media. At the same time, the university students associations, with hobbies and interests serving as the bond, have been thriving. The vigorous development of college student community has brought the prosperity of college community culture. As an important part of campus culture, the culture of college societies has become a new carrier of the contemporary ideological and political education in the college. Though the college students’community culture got diverse prosperities, the theoretical research and construction of college community culture are relatively lagging. Therefore, strengthening the construction of college society culture in colleges and universities under the new media environment, and solving the problems existing in the process of development, is a new subject that the community guide teacher and ideological and political education workers in college need to face.This dissertation, consisting of four parts, is devoted to discuss the development of university association culture against the background of new media. In Part One Introduction, the theoretical basis and study method of this dissertation are covered and the current research results of university association culture development (hereafter called UACD for short) collected by collecting and organizing the existing document literature in the academic circle are explained; In Part two, related conceptions about UACD in the setting of new media are given. Moreover, the relationship between the characteristics, structure of UACD and the ideological, political education of university students arc also expounded; In Southwest Petroleum University, Chengdu University of Technology, such as sampling investigation of820college students, Part Three gives a detailed introduction to the general situations and questions of the UACD in China; In Part Four, the combination of theoretical study and data analysis helps bring out the principles, contents and channels of UACD in the setting of new media.
