| As an organic part of the national curriculum and local curriculum, school-based curriculumreflects its unique role. In foreign countries, the development of school-based curriculum isrelatively long and has rich experience in both theory and practice. In China, curriculum expertsand educators have also conducted a thorough research. They have expanded and enriched thetheories of school-based curriculum and school-based curriculum development. Under theguidance of these theories, each school started different campaigns and have different results,which to a certain extent makes up for the students’ individuality development demand, reflectsthe school’s educational philosophy and formes a certain characteristics of a school.This paper mainly focuses on the development and practice of information technology inschool-based curriculum development. The object of the study is a case study–the developmentand practice of information technology in Branch Campus of Qingdao No.2Middle School. Thecontents of the research are mainly divided into five aspects:First, the paper combs the domestic and foreign theories of school-based curriculumdevelopment, constructs the concept of information technology curriculum development in highschools, and then allows this concept to guide the practice of information technology curriculumin the school.Second, the paper determines the objectives and direction of the information technologycourse development, by analyzing and investigating the present situation of informationtechnology and the needs of student development. Focusing on this goal, the paper constructs thecontent structure of the "digital photo processing" course, which belongs to the school-basedinformation technology curriculum.Third, by building the information technology teaching website in school-based curriculumof the school, the paper explores the ways and methods of developing and carrying out theschool-based information technology curriculum. It also explores how to develop theinformation technology teaching in this website environment, and what changes in teachingmethods and the students’ skills.Fourth, based on the school evaluation of students and teachers on information technologycurriculum, the paper has a feedback to the effectiveness of the information technologyschool-based curriculum development and practice. Finally are the conclusion and the author’s own thoughts and improvement ideas of thisstudy. |
