In order to explore the purpose,value and realization of geography education and use it as the theoretical and empirical basis of geography education in various countries,Professor David Lambert,who teaches at the School of Education,University of London,UK,and members of the American Association of Geologists,The second phase of the "Geocapabilities" project was jointly developed,and curriculum making is one of the core concepts.the rapid development of modern information technology has caused great changes in all aspects of society,and new methods of human thinking and problem-solving methods have also emerged.Change and development.The organic integration of the concepts and practices of geography curriculum making and modern information technology innovates and enriches the integration of information technology and geography curriculum,which can improve teachers' TPACK knowledge and information literacy,and help to realize interactive participatory geography courses.It is of far-reaching significance for frontline geography teachers in middle schools to make courses based on the support of information technology.This paper adopts the main research methods such as literature analysis,questionnaire survey and action research,combined with the connotation and requirements of geography curriculum making based on relevant theoretical foundations,the deep application of modern information technology in geography curriculum,and geography curriculum based on information technology support.The characteristics of the products and the process of making junior middle school geography courses under the information technology environment were studied in depth,and the created geography curriculum artefacts were applied to teaching practice in order to reform and build a new geography classroom teaching model.After research,this article mainly draws the following conclusions:(1)Through the review of relevant literature and case studies,the connotation and requirements of geography curriculum making under the support of modern information technology are defined,that is:based on the core concepts of geography;starting from student experience;and comprehensive The teaching theme is leading;supported by modern information technology.The characteristics of the geography curriculum artefacts based on information technology support were determined:the geography subject that takes into account the integration of space-time and dynamic development;the situation is vivid and real;the logical structure is tight;(2)Based on the investigation of the current situation of junior high school geography curriculum making based on information technology,it is concluded that teachers do not understand the curriculum standards deeply enough and are not closely integrated with teaching practice;they are not sure about the core concepts and core knowledge of middle school geography;The junior high school geography curriculum making process lacks scientific basis and principles;teachers' own information literacy is not high enough to be further improved;students have a better understanding and mastery of modern information technology;their knowledge and understanding of geography curriculum making are not deep enough;based on Geography teaching supported by information technology can promote student learning.(3)Analyze the existing problems based on the results of the current survey,and build a process model of junior high school geography curriculum based on information technology support:based on the three pillars of the curriculum,junior high school geography curriculum standards,and modern information technology;follow the integration and subjectivity,Developmental,procedural and practical principles;formed the method steps of junior high school geography curriculum based on information technology support:screening core concepts and selecting teaching topics;analyzing curriculum standard textbooks to clarify teaching goals;creating curriculum artefacts based on information technology;application of curriculum artefacts,independent cooperation exploration;time-effect feedback teaching,optimization of curriculum artefacts.(4)Based on the support of information technology,the teaching application of geography curriculum artefacts in junior middle school was carried out.Taking the teaching content of Chapter 2 of "China's Natural Environment" in the eighth volume of Hunan Education Edition as an example.The relationship between contextualization and serialization,taking action research method to create a series of junior high school geography curriculum artefacts based on the support of information technology.The course products in the section "Topography of China" are used to show the specific creation steps and apply it Specific teaching practice,the implementation of specific teaching action process,and finally carried out teaching reflection and revision of curriculum artefacts.This article effectively introduces the characteristics of information technology into the production of geography courses,and constructs the principles of geography course production based on information technology,the basis and basic model of geography course production in junior high school,which is conducive to ensuring the smooth progress of geography course production and the effectiveness of course products Use,from the perspective of the classroom teaching model,has made a new attempt to cultivate students' geographical thinking and ability,which has certain promotion and reference significance for the development and reform of teaching technology.
