Recently,“developing by evaluation” has become a hot topic of the education evaluation,also represent for pursuing the essence of education in the background which against rationalityof science. Evaluating is no longer in order to obtain the result, but in order to make theevaluation for people evaluated to obtain development. In the spheres of pre-school education,people pay more and more attention to whether children evaluated can get the proper guidanceand help, and acquire the growth which conform their developmental characteristics and futureneeds. Regarding to the evaluation activities of preschool art education, the national policy andresearch area began to emphasize offering children more understanding, respect and expressionspace. Especially, they stress not to evaluate children by adults’ aesthetic standards. Those allpoint to the concept of “Returning to the childishness”. Therefore, this study choose to evaluatechildren’s art works to seek the way of returning to the childishness.First of all, returning to the childishness means the way people regard and understandchildren should come back to children’s nature mind and equal status from the authority ofadults’ world for treasuring the value of childhood and facing up to the unique development ofyoung children, and exploring children’s real feelings. The children’s art work evaluation underthe guidance of “Returning to the childishness” highlight the evaluation should be launchedchild-centered, process-focused, understanding-enhanced and development-promoted, and so on.Secondly,this study re-consider the preschool art evaluation activities via the definition ofrelated concepts of child art evaluation under returning to childishness. According to analyzingthe accumulated materials of preschool art evaluation through internship and visit in kindergarten,we found there were some problems of evaluation which including making adult as the mainparticipants, taking adults’ aesthetic as standards, do not focus on the process, and ignoring theidea and development of children.Then, this research made some attribution of issues above which mainly include the lack ofchildren spirits, the disadvantages of target evaluation model, the short of available operation inthe broad environment, and teachers’ deficiency in professionalism, evaluation theory and theknowledge of children’s art development.At the end of this article, we proposed some practical advise for the preschool art evaluationunder returning to childishness by the lead of the concept and evaluation knowledge. First ischanging the education idea and attitude by learning concepts. Second is to observe, to listen, todialogue, to create and to review. At last, we introduced environment protection and socialatmosphere construction to open our thought for proceeding a way of evaluation both diversityand development, and efficiency and operational.
