Rural Returning Children's Social Adaptation Case Involved

Accompany with the development of Chinese economy and society,and the fast process of urbanization and industrialization,large scale population migration appear.More and more migrant workers enter the city by family style,so large scale migrant children appear.Because of the present Chinese household register policy and education policy,more migrant children will become returning children.Returning children are special children who have migrant experience.Academia and medium pay more attention to the common staying children,however,make few efforts investigating on returning children.The article researches on returning children's study status,find out many problems of study and living and hope arousing more attention to the returning children.Drawing on the ecological system theory and the social support theory,I explored the returning godchildren social adaptation and the problems through questionnaires and interviews.Through the survey result,it is clear that there exist some problems on returning children in the family adaptation,school adaptation,adaptation between peer groups.As for returning children without a sense of belonging for new home,learning pressure,low satisfaction in high school,and lacking of communication and so on.The author began to intervene in these problems of client,guide the director to recognize their own problems,and make a change.First of all,the research background,research significance and literature review,define and explain the relevant concepts and theories,then describe the reflux status of children's social adaption and related measuring tool.Finally,the case for intervention,to summarize the article and reflection.To facilitate the social adaptation of returning children,I proposed intervention strategies from the community-,school-,family-and individual-level from the social work perspective,and I hope that such strategies would help these returning children better adapt to their life when they go back to their home town.
