| As a great educator of the former Soviet Union, the Educational Ideology of Sukhomlynsky is widely spread in our country and has far-reaching effects, even more than those on his hometown in Ukraine. Sukhomlynsky contributed his whole life to his career of education and engaged in teaching and educational research. In the study of this thesis, the Educational Scientific Research Ideology of Sukhomlynsky is systematically sorted out, and it focuses on its prerequisites, purposes, contents, methods, features, etc. The appearance of the Educational Scientific Research Ideology of Sukhomlynsky is not only relevant to the development of specific social and historical background and the Soviet Educational Thought, but also closely associated with Sukhomlynsky’s personal experiences and personality characteristics. As the principal of a middle school, Sukhomlynsky made the goal of education as nurturing comprehensive and harmonious people, a student-centered, teaching-focused and curriculum supported educational and scientific research system had been formed. School-based educational research and a set of mature research system had been formed. Using Action Research as the main research method and a variety of other research methods, especially the narrative-based expression, Sukhomlynsky showed the world many immortal masterpieces of education. Sukhomlynsky’s attitude to educational scientific research was scientifically rigorous and truth-seeking. His study on problems of education usually lasted a long time and had wide research field. He was concerned about research ethics, emphasized on the research of application of educational theory and improved the teacher’s skills by educational scientific research. Sukhomlynsky made remarkable achievements in educational scientific research, many of which are historical foresighted. The contemporary educational scientific research in primary schools and middle schools in China will be able to get inspirations from it. |
