The creation of dialogue teaching situation has been an important way to realize dialogue teaching effectively. The research, based on both policy, literature about the theory of Brain Science as well as the theory of Situated Teaching and existing implementation of dialogue teaching fully indicates that it is urgent for us to do research on how to create dialogue teaching situation. Based on the study and understanding of the existing literature, we find that the existing research just focuses on dialogue teaching and teaching situation, there is little research on dialogue teaching situation. Therefore, the main problem in the research is about how to create dialogue teaching situation. Using literature method and observation method as main methods, and on the basis of fully understanding the dialogue, dialogue teaching and teaching situation, the research tries to clarify the connotation and characteristics of the creation of dialogue teaching situation. At the same time, the research chooses two English teachers’teaching practice in a junior middle school, L city as a case study. Through deeply observing interaction between teachers-students and students-students in English teaching classroom, we do research on different strategies of creating dialogue teaching situation.Through the research, we find that dialogue teaching situation provides some supportive conditions for teachers and students through communication do research on some questions that they will meet in the teaching procedure, so that the teaching goal can been achieved effectively. The supportive conditions include some factors that have an influence on dialogue teaching, such as classroom environment, teachers’ linguistic performance, teaching facilities, and teaching resources. There are four characteristics in dialogue teaching situation, including democracy, emotion, life, and open. What’s more, Suggestopedia Theory, Emotional Theory, Social Learning Theory and the Cognitive Theory of Constructivism provides theoretical basis for the creation of dialogue teaching situation. Currently, dialogue teaching which is good for bending emotion between teachers and students, making students be social practitioners and pioneers of the knowledge provides reality basis for the creation of dialogue teaching situation. The goal of creating dialogue teaching situation is the establishment of democratic relation between teachers and students, stimulation of students’learning interest and development of students’social communication and cooperation ability as well as cognitive ability. With the basis of theories and reality of creating dialogue teaching situation and deeply observing the practical teaching in junior English teaching, the research explores how to create dialogue teaching situation on the ground of the characteristics of the dialogue teaching situation. The strategies of creating dialogue teaching situation includes the various arrangement of classroom that is good for dialogue teaching, teachers’appropriate verbal behavior and language which indicate democracy, teaching mixed with students’life, using activities in the communication and using open questions to stimulate students’ curiosity. Finally, the research makes a conclusion of possible problems in creating dialogue teaching situation to provide references for realizing the creation of dialogue teaching situation better.
