With the implementation of the new curriculum reform in our country,dialogue teaching of English class has become the focus of many English educators.According to the new curriculum standard,the learning process is important and the practice and application of language should be emphasized.But practice and application should be based on dialogue.As a new teaching method,dialogue teaching is a kind of teaching that teachers and students communicate,and cooperate with each other in the democratic and equal classroom so as to realize the spirit meeting and emotional resonance between teachers and students.However,there are a lot of "ineffective dialogue" in "junior high school English classroom",which is called "question-answer-evaluation”,and the communication between teachers and students can not improve their language competence.In this paper,the dialogue teaching method is the theoretical basis,through literature analysis,questionnaire survey of students of Grade 6,Grade 7,Grade 8 in junior middle schools,by classroom observation and other methods to find and analyze some problems and reasons of current dialogue in junior middle school English classroom teaching methods,the author proposed the method for optimization.This paper is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is introduction.It mainly introduces the background,purpose and significance of the research.The second chapter is literature review,which mainly discusses the current research situation of dialogue teaching at home and abroad.The third chapter introduces the research methods and focuses on the research process of questionnaire survey.The fourth chapter is the analysis of the problems and reasons of the dialogue teaching method,through observation and analysis of experimental data.The fifth chapter puts forward the concrete optimization strategy,namely,optimizing teacher's accomplishment,optimizing student's ability and optimizing the classroom atmosphere three aspects.The sixth chapter is the last part.It describes the main findings,limitations and future research directions of this paper.
