Ecological Problems Research Of The Community Interaction In Network Courses

The21st century is the information society, when the continuous development of the computer and network technology provides technology support for network education’s maturity. Web-based courses become the main component of network education. Online learning expands gradually on a global scale. Web-based courses reach high tide due to the development of national superior course. In recent years, web-based courses are used as the complement of class learning in universities, colleges and primary and secondary schools. But there appear some problems in the community interaction in network courses.This research analyses all kinds of interaction in network courses based on the idea of ecology, social network analytic approach and quantitative analysis. Social network analytic is an analytical method that analyses interpersonal relationship and the relationship between the people and the community, and Ecology researches ecological principal’s interactive relationship. Therefore, the ecological problems in the community interaction in network courses can be reflected by social network analytic approach.Four courses in network courses platform were selected, the interaction times between community members of network courses were counted. The UCINET software was used to forming data matrix, calculating the density of community interaction for every network course and forming the sociogram. And then, the centrality of community members was computed in order to look at the centrality in the whole community initially. Then analysis of the cohesive subgroup for the whole community is to looking for the members who interacted more times from the cliques, and looking up the block models is to looking for the cliques composed by the members in the same position. And last, the analysis of core-periphery is for finding out the members who are in the core or periphery position, the structural holes help looking for the opinion leader in the network courses.Based on the quantitative analysis, the ecological problems of the community interaction in network courses from the perspective of ecology are as follows:(1)short coming of the whole vitality in the network courses;(2) unbalances of interaction between the ecological principal;(3)unbalance of production and consumption;(4))unbalance of ecological niche of ecological principal (5) lower cohesion of members interaction in the network courses;(6) more borderline person in the community;(7)less opinion leaders;(8) lack the diversity and dominance in the community.Though the analysis of the ecological problems in the community of network courses, suggestions are offered:(1)cultivate mutualism-symbiosis network learning community;(2)establish proper competition;(3)balance ecological niche of ecological principal;(4)pay attention to learning leader;(5)rich diversity of ecosystem;(6)building culture atmosphere.Analysis the problem of the community in the network courses from the perspective of ecology by social network analysis is a new vision, in hoping for providing some basis for the development of network.
