The paper adopts<Glencoe Science-Physics:Principles and Problems> as study text, which is the relatively popular physics teaching materials about secondary school in the USA, and aims to grasp common characteristics and superiorities of American schoolbooks. They could provide beneficial reference for physics textbooks writing and teaching reform, and help to promote middle school physics education in our country.Employing System as the theoretical foundation, the thesis mainly consists of several parts as follows, putting to use literature analysis method, statistical analysis method, case analysis method etcetera.The first part is introduction. It clarifies some elements on why we choosing Glencoe Science-Physics:Principles and Problems> to study in global education reform, and the elements contain the background, reason, goal, value and so on.
