The proposal of "process and method" objective is a highlight of the new curriculum reform, it has manifested ideas of the new curriculum reform that calls for various students’ study method, focuses on students’ experience in process, strengthen students’ educational of scientific method, it’s also a key to implement the new curriculum reform. At the same time, it’s a difficulty in the implementation of new curriculum, because many teachers do not know what is "process and method" and how to design or implement this objective. So, this paper study on the design of senior school chemistry "process and method" objective based on curriculum standards, intent to provide guidance for teachers who want to better design and implement this objective.This paper constituted by introduction, body and conclusion three parts. The first chapter is introduction, it determine the methods, Content, purpose and significance of the research on the background of the worldwide science education reform and based on the understanding of the research status of this objective.The body of this paper constituted by second to the fifth chapters.The second chapter is the theoretical basis of this research. The third chapter investigate the present situation on the designing of "process and method" objective, this article mainly uses questionnaire method and literature reference to investigate teachers’ understanding on objective content and connotation. The survey found that, teachers’ understanding on the content and connotation of this objective is not comprehensive enough, teachers do not pay enough attention to the objective, and teachers haven’t superb technology to design this objective. The fourth chapter is one of the most important content in this paper, on the basis of analysis of the course goals, based on the development of students, take scientific methodology as a guide it construct senior school chemistry "processes and method" objective content system combination of materials. In fifth chapters, first, we propose the "interprete curriculum standards, analyze teaching materials, analyze students’ situation, determine teaching resources and represent objective" procedure of design objective, and the objective design form which include body, behavior, conditions and the degree four elements. Then propose objective design method of decomposing and converting the "curriculum goals-module goals-unit goals-period goals", on the basis of deep understanding the curriculum standard and overall grasp the three-dimensional objective. Final we design the unit teaching goals and period teaching goals of the 《Structure of Matter, periodic law of elements》 unit, to provide an example for teachers to write "process and meth od" objective.Studies on how to design senior school chemistry "processes and methods" objective are summarized at the final concluding remarks in this paper, and the defects and related issues for further research are also indicated.
