It has become an important goal to train high quality creative intellectuals as the development of the study on science of Thinking and the minority nationality education. The period of basic education is the critical time to improve the thinking ability of minority nationality students, and developing the high quality creative intellectuals is the first necessity to thinking ability. From experience, there were few studies on related research field, especially for the minority nationality pupils. Based on the above consideration, this article assessed the Mongol nationality pupils and studied its developmental level that made some estimable sense and realistic sense.The article comprehensively studied the development and education on thinking ability of Mongol nationality pupils mainly including scholastic attainment, motivation and the analysis on the factors of the interaction between learning strategy and thinking ability, leaning the problems with thinking developmental level and study of the Mongol nationality pupils. The school curriculums named "Learn to think" that aimed at Grade Three and Grade Four primary school students can get the result on how systematic thinking teaching affect the Mongol nationality pupils’thinking ability.This article mainly includes the following items:(1) Preface. It based on our multicultural background, and summarizes the current situation that Mongolian pupils are lack of accepting thinking abilities teaching in the context of the courses mainly taught in Mongolian but not in Chinese. Then, put forward this research topic by combing with the unique nature of the national education.(2) This part mainly discussed the basic theories of researchers about thinking abilities and the ways of training, and summarizes the present situation of the pupils thinking abilities training at home and abroad.(3) By making a basic concept and research goal, some investigations in questionnaire that related to developmental thinking ability and research ideas about "Learn to think" were proposed. Also, it illustrates the estimable sense and realistic sense of present study.(4) Investigation on the developmental level of thinking ability of Mongol nationality pupils. Since Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region area is characterized by elongated narrow strip, the investigations mainly focused on representative eastern, central and western cities that were selected by consideration of the historic, cultural and financial differences. The questionnaire, test, compare and statistical analysis were used in studying the overall development of Mongol nationality pupils’ thinking ability.(5) The discussion part mainly focused on the studying that the impact of "Learn to think" on Mongol nationality pupils’ thinking ability. The implement process of "Learn to think" was introduced by our empirical study and classroom teaching. To get the effectiveness of "Learn to think" on Mongol nationality pupils’ thinking ability training, questionnaire survey, interviewing method and classroom observation are adopted.(6)Conclusions, innovations and outlook. Researchers rethink about the development of Mongol nationality pupils’ thinking ability and proposes the forecast aimed at this study’s innovative when combined with pedagogical practice and related results that took nearly a year-and-a-half-long time.
