Study On The Effect Open Courses

With the development of computer technology and network technology constantly, the movement of OER (Open Educational Resource) does deeper. At present, all kinds of OCW (Open Courseware) have been applied in a certain degree. In order to guarantee and maintain the sustainable development of OER sports, to know these questions, such as who is accessing OCW? Where, geographically, are OCW users coming from? What do people expect from OCW? How effective is the OCW site and content for users, is the major concern for us now.In research, firstly, on the basis of the analysis and research of literature, I have organized the related concepts of OER sports and the research of OCW on the evaluation of application. Then, the current application situation of OCW on the website "Open Educational Resources for Educational Technology" is surveyed by the way of questionnaires and Google Analytics reports. According to the reports’content and the results of the survey, the author has analyzed the advantages and problems existing in the current, and the put forward the corresponding solving measures and methods, with the hope to be helpful to the website "Open Educational Resources for Educational Technology".This paper consists of five chapters altogether:The first chapter, introduction. This part elaborated the research background, research problems, research objects, research purposes, research meaning and research methods of the paperThe second chapter, the summary of the OCW evaluation at home and abroad. I have set forth the related concepts of OER and OCW, web analytics and Google Analytics, and sort out the current research on the evaluation of OCW application.The third chapter, the analysis of the OCW’s application effect:website analysis perspective. In this part, the author have used Google Analytics, a online website analysis tool, analyzed the application effect of OCW on the website "Open Educational Resources for Educational Technology "in the following several aspects:audience group, flow source, content. And then the author analyzed the advantages and problems existing in the current, and put forward the corresponding solving measures and methods.The forth chapter, the analysis of the OCW’s application effect:investigation and interview perspective. In order to understand and grasp the application effect of OCW on the website "Open Educational Resources for Educational Technology" clearly, obtain a real effective situation and avoid the limitation of quantitative evaluation by Google Analytics, the author analyzed the questionnaire for visitors to the website "Open Educational Resources for Educational Technology". During the process of the application of website "Open Educational Resources for Educational Technology",the author identified some advantages.problems and shortcomings. Then went to analyze these problems, and finally found out the corresponding resolutions.The fifth chapter, research conclusion and the suggestion. This part summarizes three research conclusion of this study:Firstly, the influence of the website continues to rise; Secondly, the construction of the website has a long way; Thirdly, the tool of website traffic analysis has important reference value to the quantitative evaluation. At the same time, in view of the problems and the reasons existing in the current, I came up with five specific strategies on the optimization of the Open Courseware. The first, Have a better propaganda and promotion of the website and attract more cooperator; The second, introduce high quality Open Courseware and relieve the resources shortage phenomenon; The third, rich the curriculum and resource’s type and update curriculum content regularly; The fourth, the people response to the website should guide and promote the effective utilization of resources; The fifth, pay attention to the interactive features of the discuss part and provide feedback timely. Finally, I summarize the whole research work, summarize the main research results and point out the innovation and deficiency of this study, as well as the further efforts in the future.
