In recent years, our party and government highly concerned about the development of "three agriculture", and successively implemented a number of policies and measures to promote agricultural synergism, increase farmer’s income. At the third plenary session of the eighteenth central committee, our party pointed out clearly:"We need to speed up the construction of new system of agricultural operation, give farmers more property rights, promoting urban and rural elements of equal exchange and balanced allocation of public resources, and improve the healthy development of urban system." There will be more opportunities for peasants’ entrepreneurship. At the same time, more and more rural labors are flooding into cities. On the one hand, this has promoted the rapid development of urban economy. On the other hand, this also has brought many problems which are harmful for the development of agricultural industrial economy, such as the village hollowing, agriculture, farmer part-time aging etc. How to let the young labors and talent voluntary stay in rural areas of agricultural industry and promote the development of agricultural industry modernization has become the key for the promotion of rural development, farmers’income and agricultural efficiency.The entrepreneurship training for farmers is a "sunshine project" which is carried out by our party and government. Its aim is to cultivate new occupation farmers and farmer entrepreneurs who have excellent agricultural technology, advanced ideas, and pioneering spirit. In this way, we can effectively invigorate the rural economy, increase agricultural benefit and farmers’ income. Jingzhou area is located in Jianghan Plain, its natural condition is so superior, the development of agriculture has a long history, and the traditional agriculture is developed. Jingzhou city is the famous "big agriculture city" of Hubei province. Agriculture economy occupies an important position in the local social and economic development. At the same time, due to influence of traditional agriculture, the scale of the agricultural production and operation in Jingzhou is small, its industrialization and informatization level is not high, and the agricultural modernization development is also lagging behind. Therefore, Jingzhou area should try its best to catch the opportunity of agricultural entrepreneurship training, and focus on cultivating a large number of new professional farmers and farmer entrepreneurs to provide human resources support for the development of local agricultural modernization.In order to analysis the effect of the entrepreneurship training for farmers in Jingzhou, summarize the existing problems in the training process, and explore the effective path of entrepreneurship training for farmers, we have made a long term follow-up investigation about the 160 students who had participated in the training of farmer’s entrepreneurship in Jingzhou on 2009. The survey found that, Jingzhou city has achieved remarkable results in entrepreneurship training of farmers. The entrepreneurship training for farmers is beneficial for improving the farmers’ entrepreneurial ability, enhancing the level of farmers’income who have taken part in the training, driving the other farmers to become rich, promoting the sustainable development of agriculture industry, and improving the social environment in rural areas. But at the same time, the entrepreneurship training for farmers still exist some problems and shortcomings in three aspects, such as the farmers themselves, training structures and government departments. These problems and shortcomings are not conducive to the training effect. Specifically, the problems of the farmers mainly include:farmer’s scientific and cultural level is so low that the training is difficulty, the farmers’consciousness to participate in the training is not strong, the training enthusiasm of them is not enough, the farmers’resources are so limited, which has result in entrepreneurship difficulty. The problems of the training institutions mainly has:the training teachers’teams should be further strengthened, the service facilities of the training needs to be further improved, the training curriculum ought to be further optimized, and the trainings’follow-up service needs to be further strengthen etc.. The problems of the government departments are followed:the training funds need to be further strengthened, the propaganda channels of the training are single; the supervision and management of the training is not deep enough; and the coordination mechanism is still not perfect etc.. Therefore, Jingzhou city should take the targeted measures to improve the comprehensive quality of farmers, perfect the service system of the training, and strengthen the government participation. In this way, the actual effect of entrepreneurship training for farmers will be further enhanced; the probability of the farmers’successful entrepreneurship will greatly enhance; the agricultural industry and rural economy will be also rapid development. Secondly, the author makes the longitudinal comparison of the agricultural entrepreneurship training farmers’income, comprehensive quality of the farmers; and compare for the training of farmers and other farmers in the income level, entrepreneurship and other aspects.
