The concept of function originates from the life, also applies in life. Function is the important thought of learning mathematics; to solve many problems in real life is to rely on the function thought. Function thought has penetrated into every field of the society today, while the function concept plays an important role in the learning process of entire function. Because the abstraction function concept itself, in the function concept learning, we should not only see the specific background of it from the concept, not the concept of "empty", but also to associate it with the concept of function in specific cases, to make things with " soul", to create a situation in this process plays a role of " bridge". The process of function concept learning is a spiral:the introduction of situations-to establish contact between life situation and mathematical problem-to abstract the concept of function-the concept applied to life, let the students realize that the concept of function originates from the life, also applies in life.Situation creation is starting from the actual situation, the students questions, arouse students’ positive thinking, active exploration, the student to understand the knowledge of "academic form" into the student to accept the "form of education ", so as to obtain the mathematics thinking method and practical application of knowledge.In this paper, under the guidance of the theory of constructivism, the APOS theory, the concept of duality theory, situational cognitivism, humanism, on the basis of previous studies, the " context" given a new meaning, but also the detailed division of its presentation, and put forward a new research direction:combining with the corresponding teaching content and student questionnaire "to create a situation in junior high school in the teaching of function application" are compared and analyzed. In the textbook, the author made a statistical analysis of the corresponding situation in junior high school textbooks and textbook function concept part of the creation, presentation, frequency distribution; In the aspect of students:through the questionnaire and interviews with individual students, for junior and senior high school students to grasp the situation of function concept to create a situation in application are compared and analyzed.This paper focuses on the following questions:(1) How situation creation in the textbook? (2) Whether the students like situation creation in the textbook?(3) Use the situation creation to introduce the concept of function can improve the learning interest of the students?(4) What the kind of situation creation do the students like?(5) Through the creation of situation for students, for the concept of function, how the students master?(6) Whether the students can make flexible use of the concept of function in life and learning?This paper is divided into five parts to elaborate on this topic: the first part is the introduction, which includes background and significance of research questions, defines the research question concept; the second part is the literature review and theoretical framework, the two aspects of theory foundation of theory and situation which includes the function concept creation; the third part is the research object, the research methods and research program; the fourth part of the statistics and analysis of the distribution situation in the textbook, the frequency, the questionnaire data processing and analysis; fifth part is according to the fourth part of the data, some conclusions and suggestions that.In this paper, by means of quantitative research and qualitative research, and puts forward some suggestions and opinions on the application of situational creation in the concept of function, in the hope that teachers can play a helpful role.
