An Empirical Study Youth Basketball Training

The development of youth basketball training for a basketballpowers is extremely important, it can reflect a overall basketball quality in a country ora region’s from an objective point of view. Chengdu youth basketball training areas arefaced with a new breakthrough and new challenges. In the process of the developmentof modern civilization, strengthening youth basketball training is every basketballworker’s responsibility and obligation. Chengdu had extensive mass foundation, therapid development of social economy established a material foundation for Chengduyouth basketball training, and propaganda and popularization of social culture had alsochanged the people’s mind to accept new things. Through the investigation of CUBAtraining base on Southwest Jiaotong University affiliated high school, comprehensiveanalysis of its advantages, combined with the current situation of youth basketballtraining in Chengdu, putting forward corresponding countermeasures, using themanagement and operation mode of CUBA training base for reference， in order topromoting the long-term development of the Chengdu youth basketball training, andmaximum digging out the market value of youth basketball training in Chengdu.This article mainly uses the methods of literature material, questionnaireinvestigation, mathematical statistics, expert interview, logical analysis. Comparativelystudy on the present situation of the training base in Chengdu youth basketball trainingand CUBA of Southwest Jiaotong University affiliated high school, finding out theadvantages of CUBA training base and the disadvantage of Chengdu youth basketballtraining. The results found that:(1) the CUBA is a training institution which recruitsstudents of the whole society based on the provincial key high school, where the studentclearly know the purpose of the training and with a strong ability to execute. In addition,their parents actively cooperated on the attitude of basketball training.(2) the CUBAbase coaches have professional skills and the knowledge structure, guaranteed thequality of the basketball training classes. And at the same time, this feature is alsoregarded as important by teenagers. On the choice of students’ sources, CUBA basemainly pay attention to sports talents and qualification conditions of students. Relativelysound infrastructure, guaranteed the material basis of training and learning.(3) Due tothe massive kind of institutions in Chengdu youth basketball training, governmentdifficult to enforce the unified management coordination of these institutions, and theirpoor market consciousness, lack of social publicity to the outside world, in addition,their infrastructure is relatively backward, these institutes are unable to ensure a goodoperation of the training activities.(4) Teenagers and their parents not clearlyunderstand the basketball training from scientific point of view, lack of a clear purpose, and not enough firm toward the training with obvious randomness. At the same timethey also face the conflict between the basketball training and the study.
