Research On The Development Of Youth Basketball Clubs In Shandong Province Under The Background Of The "Little Basketball Development Plan"

In recent years,the development of basketball has flourished in China.The small basketball development plan launched by the China Basketball Association in 2017 promoted basketball into the lives of children.Social training institutions have gradually become an important force in China's basketball education and training and national basketball reserve talent training.Among them,the youth basketball club has become the main body of the implementation of the small basketball development plan.Therefore,the research on its development status and model will contribute to the development of small basketball development plan.This study carried out extensive interviews and questionnaire surveys on the operators,coaches and students of the youth basketball clubs in Shandong,and systematically analyzed their operating conditions and operating models.Combined with the small basketball development plan and the sports reform of the entrance examination,the PEST analysis and the SWOT analysis were carried out.The development model of the basketball club was identified.The results of the study show that the youth basketball clubs in Shandong have a higher penetration rate,a wider distribution,and a higher market recognition.Most clubs can recommend students to participate in the small basketball development plan.A survey of the club's basketball training coaches found that the coaches have a certain understanding of the small basketball development plan.As a profit-oriented business organization,the youth basketball club's business model is greatly affected by factors such as the local economic development level,the number of students,and brand awareness.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The sports and entertainment consumption has experienced a steady growth in recent years.The market scale of sports industry will continue to expand in the near future;(2)Youth basketball clubs are the main force to support the campus basketball education and to carry out customized targeted training.At the same time,the youth basketball club is also an important way to select and deliver outstanding players to the small basketball league.(3)Most clubs are in the initial stage,and a few clubs have begun to cooperate with schools.At present,few standardized basketball clubs have been established.Regarding the development of youth basketball clubs,this study makes the following suggestions:(1)Actively respond to national policies,rely on the national basketball talent reserve plan,and actively integrate into the small basketball development plan.(2)Broaden business ideas,strengthen brand awareness,improve service quality,expand the scope of radiation,and at the same time strengthen publicity and expand the scale of enrollment.(3)Introduce an internal competition mechanism,improve the efficiency of industry resource allocation,strengthen the development of suburban and female basketball training markets,strengthen the construction of hardware conditions and the upgrading of existing venues,and improve training courses.(4)Improve the teaching level of young basketball coaches,and incorporate coach training for "small basketball" into daily coach training.The implementation of "combination of sports and education" will enable schools and youth basketball clubs to form a complementary development model of complementary resources and share resources,supplement the lack of physical education in schools,and jointly help the development of basketball.
