The increase of the numbers and types of biological experiment projects is one ofthe most obvious highlights in the teaching reform of the new curriculum in highschool, and the basic biological experiments are compulsory courses for collegestudents. The specific properties and purposes of biological experiment teaching aredifferent in high-school and university. It disjointed largely between high-school anduniversity in biological teaching under the multiple backgrounds of new curriculumreform in high-school, the recruiting scale-up and implementation of the large classenrollment in local universities. It has become an important subject need to be urgentexplored that how to enhance the connection of biological experiment teachingbetween university and high-school.For the sake of providing references for the connection of biological experimentteaching between university and high-school, increasing the quality of biologicalexperiment teaching in university, this study is based on the theory of biologicalexperiment teaching, by the methods of literature searching, questionnaire, I proposethe following research contents:Firstly, take textbooks mentioned below as the foundation—Biology (Highschool curriculum standard textbook, published by people’s Education Press) and6basic biological experiment textbooks in university, make comparisons of teachingaims, contents and methods, experiment skills and assessing methods betweenhigh-school and university in experiment teaching. Results showed though it existedsome differences in biological experiments between high school and university, butbiological experiments in university based on experimental skills in high school, andit required more in teaching aims, contents, experimental skills and accessingmethods.Secondly, make teachers’ and students’ questioners on biological experimentteaching. Investigation objects include biological teachers of high-school inGuangdong province and freshmen of school of life sciences in Sun Yat-senUniversity, South China Normal University and Guangzhou University. What’s more,high school students failed to adjust themselves to biological experiment teaching inuniversity very soon; it resulted to a gap between them. Thirdly, combine questioners with interview in junior, to know about the statusof biological experiment teaching in college student of lower grades. The results showthat: there exists some differences between experiment skills of senior high schoolstudents and the requirements of curriculum standards; the experiment skills of seniorhigh school students are weak in some degree. It was disjointed between the conceptof culturing innovated persons in university and examination-oriented educationsystem in high school.Fourth, on the bases of the research mentioned above, analyze the problems andreasons of the connection of the biological experiment teaching between high-schooland university. And then made suggestions to schools, teachers, students andgovernments in view of high school and university, for high school,①it shouldpay more attention to biological experiment teaching;②teachers should payattention to experiment teaching, and unify the teaching conceptions and actions;③the education administration should appeal to contacts between high school anduniversity. For universities,①universities should carry out gradient teaching;②teachers should pay more attention to the connection of biological knowledge and thetransition of teaching methods;③university students should enhance the initiativeof study.
