Biology is a subject which is based on biological experiment. The biological experimentsteaching is an important part of biology teaching and is one of the main modes students’learning biology in the junior high school, biological scientific literacy and interest training ofstudents largely rely on biological experiment teaching. Biological experiments can cultivatethe students’ thinking ability, observing ability, innovation ability and practice ability,therefore, biological experiment teaching in biology teaching occupies a very importantposition. It is very important to improve the understanding of the significance biologyexperiment teaching.At present, there is few report and investigation of biological experiment teaching situationin township junior high school of yantai city. This paper used " township junior high school ofyantai city biology experimental teaching situation questionnaire" as the research tools, tocarry out an investigation of biological experiment teaching in township junior high school ofyantai city by questionnaire, interview, observation and literature data collection, and so on.On the basis of the investigation situation and statistical analysis, the existing problems inbiological experiment teaching were found and corresponding countermeasures wereproposed.Through the investigation analysis, the main problems exist in township junior high schoolof yantai city biological experiment teaching was as following: the management departmentsshow little attention on the biological experiment teaching in junior high school; There is noenough lab instrument, equipment and experimental drugs; Biological experiment teachinglacks standard inspection and evaluation system; Leaders, teachers and students’ conceptscan’t keep up with the development and so on. In order to solve these problems, this paper putforward the following countermeasures: perfect biological experiment teaching inspection andevaluation system, arouse the enthusiasm of the teachers and students; Transform the teachingidea, to build the harmonious relationship between teachers and students; Strengthen thelaboratory construction, increase the funds investment; Perfect the laboratory managementrules and regulations; Strengthen the teaching, improve the status of biological experimentteaching; Apply informatinization in biological experiment teaching in junior high school etc.
