Fora long time, professional sports in China has been the subject to a high degree ofpublic concern, therefore, how to make our professional sports to be healthy, orderlydevelopment, is currently an important problem needed to resolve.This study With the aid of the theory of new institutional economics, in view ofthe relationship between supply and demand about the professional sports in theprocess of market advance supply and demand, Using literature, expert interviews,questionnaire and logical reasoning method, surrounding China’s professional sports、professional sports interest groups、the government governance and the current statusof professional sports to have a theoretical analysis. Expectations for the specificationoperations and the healthy development of China’s professional sports, to providethe necessary theoretical basis and practical method, as a necessary reference for thegovernment’s management system reform.The point of this study is, in the development process of the professional sports,there are two stakeholders occupied the main position——the government and theprofessional sports club, must pay attention to seek the interest balances between thetwo points, through institutional constraints and institutional innovation is the route totake our professional sports to the healthy development route. Strive to make ourprofessional sports through the way of institutional innovation, to achieve a healthyand rapid development. This study suggests that, professional sports systemimbalance in our country at present stage, One important reason is that thegovernment management system and management methods are not matched. Thegovernment is an urgent need for further institutional reforms, As soon as possiblechange to professional sports management system and management mode, as soon aspossible to establish and improve the system of professional sports in our country, tomake the necessary specifications on our country’s professional sports.The conclusion of this study is:First： The basic form of our political system determines the institutionalarrangements of the management system of China’s professional sports. Currently inthe process of development of professional sports in China, There are larger interestsof the difference between the government management department of theadministrative orientation and the professional sports club of the market orientation.To establish and improve the system of professional sports in our country, we mustseriously consider the role of government in which the status, functions and role.Second: Our country professional sports system has a short history ofdevelopment, at present is still in the initial formation of professional sports system.From the experience of the West in view of the fact that the development of theprofessional sports should follow the gradual evolution of the law of natural selectionand market. Make decision by the market, the government is responsible forsupervision, mainly to allow the market to regulate the professional sports market.Third: The government sports management departments and professional sportsclubs are two interest subjects of professional sports system in our country, Betweenthe main powers of the interests of the game "is the inevitable manifestation ofprofessional sports development process.
