Education reform has been on for some time, and the purpose of it is to reduce the heavy burden of students. However, as the students of Grade Nine have to participate in the High School Entrance Exam, due to academic pressure and other factors, it seems impossible to reduce the burden of students. Since the ordinary teaching method has been implemented for many years and the way of teaching has been formed, doing lots of exercises is still the only way of teaching in revision classes. The ordinary teaching is based on people’s mobility and dependence but ignores the initiative and creativity of the students. Students do lots of exercise like a machine just to finish the task, especially during the period of reviewing for the High School Entrance Exam. As a result, students are in poor learning state and the work gets low efficiency. On the other hand, the learning knowledge is across many areas and fragmented, so the understanding of the knowledge is hard to form just by practicing a lot. What’s worst, students get too much tired and bored with studies. Therefore, changes in the way of teaching, mining students’initiative and creativity, cultivating the students’innovative consciousness, practical ability and migration ability become a top priority. Through improving teaching methods, teachers can not only make up the lack of knowledge of the students but also help students sort out the main points of knowledge and form a knowledge framework in mind to face the exam calmly. What’s more, the learning methods they get can help them face the high school education. The text was based on constructivist learning theory. The author used constructivist approach to do a contrasting experiment on the students of Class Four, Grade Nine and Class One, Grade Nine to compare the results of constructivist approach and ordinary teaching methods by using the SPSS statistical treatment of experimental post-test data analysis, in order to explore the operational and effective method to enhance efficiency in the junior high school physics revision classes, expecting to extract a set of effective through research to reduce the burden of students and get high marks as well.
