Cooperation belongs to the prosocial behavior, and the cooperation behavior has already been developed between age2and6, which is rapidly developed in the period of4to5years old. In the process of socialization of children, cooperation plays an important role. Since60’s, foreign researchers have been studied the cooperation development of children in the background of different cultural. It showed that different cultural background will cause the difference of the level of young children’s cooperative development. The research on children’s cooperation in domestic mainly concentrated in the children who live in the city, which made little on rural children.Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Systems Theory emphasizes that the development is the result of the interaction between people and environment. In this paper, the characteristics of general cooperation development of young children were investigated, which in the different family and kindergarten and different cultural background. We take245young children of middle shift in rural areas and277in urban areas as the research object, which from Mount Tai District, Dai Yue District and Dong Ping County area. In this paper,"Teachers’Rating Questionnaire on the Cooperation Development Level of Early Childhood" which constructed by Xuesong Ren was adopted to investigate the cooperation of children in middle shift. In this paper, the investigation include the characteristics of cooperation development of young children from urban and rural. The discussions are referred to general characteristics, gender differences, regional differences and kindergarten differences on the development of children’s cooperation. At the same time,"Parenting Style Questionnaire" which was compiled by Yangli Zhu was used to investigate the parenting style. I analysis the outer environment which make the differences of characteristics of development on the mode of Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Systems Theory. In conclusion, some suggestions about the development of children’s cooperation are putted forward.In this paper, the research conclusions basically are in the following aspects:1. The development of children’s cooperation has significant gender differences. Girls’scores are significantly higher than boys in the total score and in the terms of assistance, association and collaboration. Which means the cooperation development level of girls is significantly better than that of boys.2. The development of children cooperation has significant regional differences. Except for the assistance, rural infants are hardly different from urban infants. Rural infants’scores are significantly higher than urban infants in terms of association and collaboration. Which means the cooperation development level of rural infants is significantly better than that of urban infants.3. The development of children’s cooperation has significant differences in different kindergarten environment. There is significant difference in the total scores and in the terms of association and collaboration in different kind of kindergartens. Rural infants’scores are significantly higher than other infants.4. The development of children’s cooperation has significant differences in different family environment. In the city, there is significant correlation between and democratic parenting style, and there is negative correlation between unrestrained parenting style and the term of inconsistency; In rural areas, the scores of cooperation for non-one-child are significantly higher than one-child’s. Which means the cooperation development level of non-one-child is significantly better than that of one-child in rural area; And the infants’cooperation scores in nuclear family are significantly higher than that in the stem family. Which means the cooperation development level of infants in nuclear family is significantly better than that in stem family; The cooperation scores of those infants who have more interaction activities with their accompaniers are significantly higher than any other different interaction activities. Which means the cooperation development level of Infants who usually play with their accompaniers is significantly better than that of any other different interaction activities.
