Nowadays, multimedia technology and network technology as the core of information technology in the classroom get more and more attention of educators.With the implement of new curriculum standard and the reform of English teaching,development and application of modern information technology into English classroom teaching has opened up a new heaven and earth.The author thinks that using information technology to assist English vocabulary teaching,can solve the disadvantages of isolated and monotonous in traditional vocabulary teaching,and is helpful to optimize vocabulary learning effect.The combination of information technology and English teaching is the trend of English teaching reform,and also is the necessary way for improving English vocabulary teaching.According to the English education teaching theory and vocabulary teaching methods at home and abroad,the author in view of the domestic present situation and existing problems of junior high school English vocabulary teaching,combining with the author own practical experience of junior middle school English teaching.From the current junior middle school information technology current conditions, the information literacy of teachers and studentS,considering the characteristics of junior middle school English curriculum, English teaching material arrangement and organization mode from several aspects,put forward the integration of information technology and junior high school English vocabulary teaching strategies of teaching:using modern information technology to create vocabulary learning situation,to help students construct words,to improve the efficiency of vocabulary memory,to increase the English vocabulary effectively.According to the above strategy and combined with the authors practical teaching experience,the author put forward following two hypotheses:1,Applying information technology and junior high school English vocabulary teaching strategies in English vocabulary teaching,can improve students’ English literacy and enhance students’ interest in English vocabulary learning;2,Applying information technology and junior high school English vocabulary teaching strategies in English vocabulary teaching,to some extent, can improve the English scores of students and Develop the students’ vocabulary application ability.Through the education experiment method, questionnaire survey method for hypothesis testing,We have seen the use of information technology to student’s English achievement and interest in English learning and experimental classes of students interest in English vocabulary learning has a positive change.Due to change attitudes,experimental classes the mid-term of the final grades have obvious difference.According to the above results, the author thinks that the main reason is that,the teaching strategies of information technology and junior high school English vocabulary can promote students’ cognitive skills and create conditions to students with a particular cognitive strategies,cause students to reflect on improving students’ English literacy and increasing interest in English vocabulary learning.
