Vocabulary is the building materials of the language. As the main carrier of information, vocabulary is one of the three important components of the language. It is the most basic part in the English learning. It is related to other knowledge and skills. Raising the level of vocabulary teaching and comprehensively improving the English teaching efficiency in junior high school is the inevitable reflection.In the teaching practice, vocabulary has become a stumbling block in students'English learning. Also, some English teachers do not attach the importance of vocabulary teaching. They think vocabulary does not need teaching, so they only teach the students to read the words and understand the meanings, and then let the students themselves remember and recite them after class. The so-called" vocabulary teaching" make the students know nothing to do. It also greatly reduces the students' interest in learning English and seriously influences the students' learning achievement.The use of information technology makes our teaching more natural, intuitive, vivid and full of strong infection. It can not only stimulate students' interest in learning English, improve concentration and deepen the impression more easily, but also help students to have a lasting memory. Information technology can assist us to create, optimize and improve our vocabulary teaching environment.It can also raise the efficiency of memory in teaching vocabulary, so effectively applying and expanding vocabulary should be imperative.In terms of constructivism as the basic theoretical foundation, this study mainly discusses the practice and integrated mode about information technology and English vocabulary teaching in junior high school. Here the author combines with the teaching practice and investigation, beginning with the problems in current junior high school English vocabulary teaching, using information technology characteristics and advantages, looking for the bonding point of information technology and junior high school English vocabulary teaching, and comes up with the related proposal, then tells us the integrated mode about information technology and English vocabulary teaching make our teaching effect improve greatly. At the same time, the integrated mode provides a good opportunity for the English teaching reform.
