Promoting information technology and junior middle school English courses integration and realizing the innovation of teaching content presentation, students learning methods, teachers teaching methods and teacher-student interaction mode is the direction of the junior middle school English teaching innovation. Glossary teaching in English is the most basic and the largest element that affects other knowledge and skills. It is inevitable that we consider from raising the standard of glossary teaching, and comprehensively improve the effectiveness of junior middle school English teaching.The development of information technology has added a lot of activeness to the modern education. Taking into account of the present conditions of junior middle school information technology, the degree of integration of information technology and traditional teaching methods, from the problem that exist in the current junior middle school English glossary teaching, using the advantages of information technology, and looking for the joint of information technology and junior middle school English glossary teaching, this paper presents the following considerations: using information technology to create, optimize, and improve glossary teaching environment; using information technology to help students build meaningful Schema; using information technology to improve memory efficiency of glossary teaching; using information technology to use and expand vocabulary more efficiently.In practical level, in accordance with the relevant theories and disciplines of information technology and the characteristics of English, under the premise that not to increase the burden on students, using information technology as a means of support, relying on ready-made curriculum integration model and the experience and methods of glossary teaching, proposing junior middle school glossary teaching strategies under information technology condition and creating the corresponding case design, practising under the conditions of junior middle school English glossary teaching, and thus provide examples of teaching practice.
