The Chinese High Level Academies is the great wealth carried on scholars of the past, it includes not only the primary and secondary academies, but also the high level academies. Admittedly, the Medieval Universities in Europe is the base of modern universities, and its advanced ideas of autonomy and freedom also continues to today. Overall, the Chinese Academies and the Medieval Universities in Europe are all in the feudal society which the levels of social development and productivity are relatively similar, and they are all one of the highest level of educational institutions at that time. So, the two have very strong comparability. Yuelu Academy is called the most famous one of the four famous academies in China, and its regulation is relatively complete and has a certain scale. And Paris University is one of the world’s oldest universities and is called the mother university. It is also on behalf of the teachers’universities. Therefore, it is to some extent scientific and targeted that respectively takes Yuelu Academy and Paris University as the representatives of the Chinese Academies and the Medieval Universities in Europe.The comparative research of the Chinese Academies and the Medieval Universities in Europe is from the angle of the internal management, and it respectively takes Yuelu Academy and Paris University as the representatives. The comparison dimensions include five:management structure, funds management, teachers and students’management, teaching and researching management and other management. At that time, because the ruling classes have a strong demand for higher education, as well as the middle and upper classes, and they were all caught the suitable time to develop their higher education. Therefore, the two have some similarities in terms of funds management, teachers and students’management, teaching and researching management. However, they have lots of differences about their internal management, especially in the aspects of the management structure, the degree awarding system, the sacrifice management and the collection management. Because their external environments are very different, such as the political system, the level of economical development, cultural tradition, and so on. Besides, their financial operation ways and education’s objections aren’t the same. These differences ultimately led to the different historical fate for the Chinese Academies and the Medieval Universities in Europe. Our country should find some useful and meaningful things from the two’s internal management for the better development of our universities. Overall, our universities should improve their internal management from at least five aspects, such as the autonomy in running schools, internal governance, and so on.
