Local culture is a kind of culture growing on agriculture as the foundation, it hasa distinctive local color and a specific geographical areas of material civilization,spiritual civilization and ecological civilization. Its specific values, folk art andcultural landscape, plays an important role in the process of the development of ruralsociety,such as emotional cultivation,personality influence, social education andtalent cultivation. As a kind of cultural resources, it should become an integral part ofthe curriculum. As far as the relationship between native culture and curriculum, localculture restrict the value orientation, the voice right,the content and teachingevaluation and so on in the development of local curriculum. Also,the setting of localcurriculum on native culture also has a positive significance on restoring,spreadingand innovation. In a world,The fusion between the local culture and the curriculumhas a promoting role in the development of each other.Although, the relationship between native culture and the curriculum is so close,but in reality, its implementation situation and the effect is not ideal. In an object withchangsha practice survey, the set up of local curriculum are failed to achieve aharmonious unity with the local culture. In the survey between the local teachers,students and teaching management person, their opinion on native culture cognition,value orientation of curriculum, the local rural curriculum content, the main body ofcurriculum development and the implementation and evaluation exist some problems.The setting of rural local curriculum is faced with realistic problem such as the valueorientation of nationalization and urbanization, the curriculum content out of the localreality, the simplifying body of the assumptions, formal and classic of curriculumimplementation and simplifying of curriculum evaluation.Aiming at the problems in practice, only by setting up local culture orientedcurriculum value orientation as a starting point, closely combining with local actualand the curriculum content, fully respecting the rural teachers’ subjectivity in thecurriculum, promoting curriculum implementation and evaluation of diversification,puting the education departments as the main body,establishing responsibility systembase on rural local curriculum, can we make the combination the local culture andcurriculum to be a real and give full play to the role and influence.
