It is an important concept in the development of contemporary courses to returnto the world of students. Under the background of new curriculum reform of historyteaching, it is an inevitable choice and also the starting point and end-resultof application in history teaching in senior high school to let course toward life,strengthen the course content and student life as well as the development of modernsocial science and technology, pay attention to the students’ interest in learningand experience, and select life-long necessary knowledge and skills for thestudents.But some problems still exist in practice. As for concept, some teachers can’t understand the life teaching concept inadequately,and can’ t grasp theconnotation of the concept deeply and accurately.While teaching, some teacherschoose the unproper teaching methods,which does no good to the history learningassociated with students’ life world,can’t achieve the goal of a world historycourses for students life and also can’t let students study and live institutely.Therefore, the application of Life teaching in the high school history teachingis not only the requirement of new curriculum reform but also the requirement ofthe all-round development of students.It not only can provide reference andexperience for the implementation of the new curriculum, but is advantageous tothe course objectives and to achieve the goals of education.The author who combines with the practice of new curriculum reform and theapplication of life teaching in the high school history teaching has carried onthe preliminary study, for your question. Besides the introduction and conclusion,this article is divided into four parts, the concrete content is as follows:The first part is about the meaning of life-oriented teaching concept appliedin the high school history teaching.It expounds the new curriculum requirements,the characteristics of history, psychological and age characteristics of students,and the current problems existing in the teaching history of four aspects.The second part is about the the content of history textbook related to life.In order to make the history course close to the students’ life, it emphasises the necessity of rewriting of the history book of senior high school. TakingtheYuelu version of high school history textbook for example, it shows in formsome contents in book one to book three which are related to our lifeThe third part is the principle of application in high school history teaching.Combined with specific case, it discusses respectively the scientific principle,open principle, efficiency principle, the principle of typicality.The fourth part tells about how to apply the life-oriented teaching conceptto the history teaching in high school. Combined with practical teaching cases,it talks from four aspects---the teaching goals, teaching contents, teachingmethods, and teaching evaluation to explore the application of the life-orientedteaching methods.
