The new curriculum revolution of basic education has been carried out for tenyears; the basic education of China because of the new curriculum revolution hasundergone tremendous changes. The education idea and the education curriculumconcept, teaching concept, elements of teachers’ new view, student view, inquirylearning, cooperative learning, teaching reflection, teaching evaluation, school-basedcurriculum, new curriculum win support among the people, in-depth classroom, Theimplementation of the new curriculum has achieved the anticipated target, andachieved the desired results. Teachers, students and schools, society deeply felt thebasic education curriculum reform has brought changes, development and progress.The thought political lesson curriculum reform is one of the most successfulexamples of the basic education curriculum reform. Objectives to the teaching goal ofthe new curriculum of Ideological and political course, from teaching to learningconcept, from the teaching content to the teaching design, from the teaching mode andteaching methods, from the aspect of development of students to the teachingevaluation has been a fundamental change. In the above changes, the situationalteaching is the originally dull and boring the thought political lesson radiate newvitality. Through situational teaching, activating knowledge abstraction theory, so thatstudents in a specific teaching situation, experience, understand the feelings, thoughtsand ideas of the rich context contains; Through the teaching situation, stimulatestudents’ thinking and exploration, in the process of inquiry learning and cooperativelearning, to grasp the basic theory, understanding, and practical application of theMarx doctrine, promote students’ emotional attitudes and values formation anddevelopment.But with the deepening of the new curriculum revolution, the situationalteaching method implementation also encountered a bottleneck in the thought politicallesson. This article analysis of situational teaching of reason appeared in ideologicaland political course application problems based on the traditional and realistic factors.First, the situational teaching method is still not fully integrated into the thoughtpolitical lesson classroom, combining the knowledge structure and the students arenot well. Secondly, many teachers have resentment to the teaching method ofsituational teaching, a variety of new, or in order to cope with the examination and no deep study and understanding of the new teaching method, resulting in the situationalteaching method in the implementation of a period of time will gradually fade out ofsight. Third, teachers are not in the application of situational teaching method fromkeeping pace with the times, many teaching examples and real life, students could notunderstand what the teacher was in the classroom, did not play the effect of situationalteaching method should be. How to solve these problems, the situational teachingmethod is really suitable for modern thought political lesson teaching requirements isthe focus of this paper.This paper discusses the following four parts. The first part is an overview of theideological and political course teaching situation. The paper expounds theconnotation of the situational teaching, ideological and political course teachingsituation and characteristics of situational teaching and the thought political lessonteaching situation. The second part of the paper is discussed the new curriculum ofIdeological and political teaching significance from four aspects. Are from theexperience of how to enrich the students’ emotion, cultivating students’ cognitiveability, social participation and promote the implementation of teaching objectives ofIdeological and political significance. The third part expounds the development statusand the necessity of the new curriculum of ideological and political situation teaching.From the development stage of the new curriculum of ideological and politicalteaching situation and achievements to discuss the development status; discuss on thenecessity of problems and causes of the new curriculum of ideological and politicalteaching situation to discuss the development. The fourth part discusses the processand strategy of the new curriculum under the background of political ideologicalsituation teaching. According to the thought political lesson teaching situation, putforward by reflection, to the thought political lesson teaching situation creation,countermeasures and effectiveness of application demands.
