In modern society, human survival and development have been threatened seriously by environmental phenomena which has already happened,such as environment pollution,ecological destruction, soil erosion, global warming and so on.The human’s future and the fate of the earth are also endangered seriously.Now,more and more environmental problems have been produced.Environmental problem is a scientific problem, but also a cultural concept problem. Environmental problems have produced a series of environmental crisis, we must change culture if we want to remove the environmental crisis, the cultural concept is the product of socialization process, however, education played an important role in the socialization process, the cultural concept is an important way of the socialization process. Therefore, to solve the environmental problems depend on environmental education. Ecological system is very fragile in northwest minority region and has suffered the different degrees of environment pollution and environmental disruption, many middle school students’environmental consciousness is weak, many environmental problems cannot be separated from the chemical knowledge.For northwest minority areas about environment conditions and the present situation of environmental education, in this paper, the northwest ethnic region penetrating the necessity of environmental education in general high school chemistry were studied by combining with the environmental problems and the necessity of general high school chemistry.Firstly, it is elaborated domestic and overseas the teaching current situation of the development of permeating environmental education and environmental conditions in northwest,secondly,it is investigated the necessity of permeating environmental education in general high school chemistry in the northwest minority areas and the existing problems, and it is tried to be found the influence factors of restricting to penetrate environmental education in general high school chemistry in the northwest minority areas; and attempts to explore the problems that might need attention to penetrate environmental education in general high school chemistry in the northwest minority areas.It is hoped that students awareness degree of the environment through in the minority areas through penetrating environmental education in general high school chemistry in the northwest minority areas;at the same time, it is hoped that the students can infect more people around them through themself environmental protection awareness of, to can be achieved public awareness about environmental protection in the northwest ethnic region, hoping to arouse people’s attention to the problems of environmental protection of the whole society, together to protect our environment and beautify our home.
