| As the result of the economy of China growing quickly, Chinese language has been on a constant rise in the world, becoming an international language second to English. Therefore, the field of teaching Chinese language has received much attention.This thesis is about teaching Chinese to enhance interest in learning the language, to explore how to use games, songs and intuitive teaching material to stimulate students’ interest in learning Chinese. The main content includes the following four parts:The first chapter is an introduction. This part is mainly the value of the research and its objectives, overview of the concept of teaching based on student’s interest in recent years and overview about the situation of teaching Chinese language to Indonesian first grade students’ situation. The second chapter is an analysis of enhancing the interests of first grade students’towards Chinese teaching, followed by a statistic analysis about survey results. The third chapter is the design of interesting Chinese teaching methods based on the first grade students’ interests survey, along with the description three aspects of teaching Chinese language through the usage of songs, games and visual aid, design in Indonesian primary first grade school teaching, with a detailed lesson plan using the three methods of teaching Chinese language. The fourth chapter is a final summary of all the views expressed in the thesis.Interest is a great learning motivation. Stimulating Indonesian primary first grade school students’ interest in learning Chinese is an important task. It is beneficial to use teaching methods involving games, songs and visual aid to stimulate first grade students’ enthusiasm to study Chinese. In order to build a relaxed and happy mood of a learning environment these methods should be implemented, in addition this study also has a better learning Chinese foundation for them in the future. Therefore, teaching with a flexible education method is very important. |
