Since the21st century, the world’s leading colleges and universities put cultivating innovative talents as one of the goals of education reform one after another. With student teaching as the main ideological origins, With its long ideological origins, rich theoretical basis and the effect of good practice, the Problem-based Teaching(PBT) stand out from the wave of reform, which takes problem as the core and students as the main body. Currently in the Ideological and Political Theory teaching, there are some issues which are in teaching content, teaching method and social environment impact on ideology. In order to resolve these issues, to promote constructing the popularization of Marxism and improve the Ideological and Political Theory teaching, this paper analyses the specific applications of Problem-Based Teaching(PBT) in Ideological and Political Theory Courses, which is based on the subject of Ideological and Political Theory.Firstly, this paper gives a general overview of the Problem-Based Teaching(PBT). For the better localization of PBT, this paper deeply excavated the theory of the Problem-based Teaching(PBT) which is implied in Chinese traditional Confucian ideology, while clear its basic meaning and explore its theoretical foundation. Secondly, the present situation and characteristics of Ideological and Political Theory Courses have been analyzed in this paper, based on which we made the analysis of qualities belongs to the Problem-based Teaching(PBT) used in Ideological and Political Theory Courses. Meanwhile we point out its significant value and meaning. Finally, this paper made research on principles and conditions for the implementation in which the Problem-based Teaching(PBT) applies in Ideological and Political Theory Courses. Then, relying on the specific implementation steps of PBT, the paper explored the specific problems when the Problem-based Teaching(PBT) is applying in the Ideological and Political Theory Course.
