Since the reform and opening up, the Guangdong provincial party committeeand government attach great importance to vocational and technical education,adhere to the "service for the purpose, the employment as the guidance" idea,take effective measures to promote vocational and technical education rapiddevelopment, economic and social service ability noticeably."The congress"report clearly pointed out that optimize education structure, and promote thebalanced development of compulsory education, speed up the popularization ofhigh school education, vigorously develop vocational education, improve thequality of higher education. In the past thirty years, Guangdong vocationaleducation realized the great-leap-forward development, whether the number ofvocational colleges, or the recruitment of students scale is in constantincrease and expand, for the Guangdong economic and social developmenttraining a large number of skilled talents. We can say, Guangdong vocationaleducation is a strong support of Guangdong economic and social development,especially the Pearl River Delta region, the area in a large number ofvocational colleges for regional economic development provided a large numberof high-quality skilled personnel.However, with the Pearl River Delta regional industrial structureadjustment and the escalating, Guangdong secondary vocational educationexisting talent training mode and development mode has not adapt to the needsof the development of regional economy. So, in Guangdong secondary vocationaleducation has entered the school scale and the recruitment of students scaleexpansion stage, study how to make Guangdong secondary vocational educationin the notice epitaxial expansion at the same time, realizes to the connotativedevelopment mode change, so as to ensure that secondary vocational educationin the scale, structure, quality and efficiency, and finally to thecoordination of the road of sustainable development, has very importantpractical significance. On Guangdong secondary vocational educationdevelopment current situation, the education quality and features become more and more attention. In the past thirty years of development process, Guangdongsecondary vocational education has been the courage to reform and innovation,but in the actual development, there are still many problems need to be solvedurgently.Therefore, this article mainly make the following research work:1. Combined with Guangdong economic development practice, especially inthe need of the Pearl River Delta regional economic development, puts forwardGuangdong secondary vocational education sustainable development theorysignificance and practical significance, review of relevant research resultsof domestic and abroad secondary vocational education development, and at thesame time, introduces the research methods, perspective and innovationpoints.2. On the definition of related concept of "sustainable development","secondary vocational education sustainable development" the core concept andconnotation, explain secondary vocational education sustainable developmentguiding ideology and theoretical basis.3. On the analysis of Guangdong secondary vocational educationdevelopment, explore Guangdong sustainable development the important role andsignificance.4. Through the case study on Guangdong secondary vocational colleges,explore the sustainable development of the secondary vocational educationbackground and Guangdong sustainable development basis and demand.5. Based on current situation and the meaning of sustainable developmentof Guangdong secondary vocational education, starting from the cultivationof ability, high quality labor force to promote sustainable development ofsecondary vocational education ability, promote the capacity of threeregional economic sustainable development of Guangdong, secondary vocationaleducation sustainable development ability evaluation, finally proposed topromote the sustainable development of Guangdong secondary vocationaleducation measures. 6. Summarize and refine the research conclusion, mainly includes theresearch concludes that the main conclusion and limitations of the study.
