Picture book is the most suitable international recognized book for children since the 21 st century.No matter from the view of its exquisite picture, humorous stories or its rich meaning, the picture book all meet the criterion of child's age characteristics. In recent years, the picture become popular gradually. Thus, the picture book instruction has also get the attention and favor of kindergarten teachers. Many kindergarten teachers takes the picture book instruction as a daily teaching activities and apply it in the class.. But from the practical research the investigator found, the majority of teachers has many problems and confusion in how to choose a picture book from these popular books and how to choice suitable ways of teaching from the selected picture books.This research use the method of combine the qualitative and quantitative to survey the the current condition of the picture book's selecting of kindergarten teachers and collect the data through the ways of questionnaire, interview and classroom observation and ect.The purpose of this research is to learn the current condition of the picture book selecting in the kindergarten of Baoding City and offer a suitable teaching proposal directly against the current condition.The study found there are following questions in the picture book selecting in the kindergarten of Baoding City: the few category of the picture books, the teacher pay more attention to the development of whole class but less in individual demands, the adaptation and reflection of the selected picture book is not enough.This study offer following advice for the question in the current condition: the teacher should establish the sense of learning the relevant knowledge of picture book independently, learn the characteristic of the age development of children, equipped with certain teaching techniques, understand the interest of children, all the action should based on children' need and so on. Put above suggestions into effect to meet the purpose of improving the quality and level of local kindergarten's picture choosing.Certainly, even though this study has made some certain achievements, but there is still exist some shortage to be improved. Such as the analysis of the earlier current condition is not thoroughly enough,the interview of teachers need to be improved and the quantity of sample need to be enlarged and so on.
