Abstract/Summary:
Kindergarten book area is a unique way of education and learning.Its facilities and sources of books provide basic guarantee for children’s reading ability and reading quality.Compared with urban kindergarten,rural kindergarten book district develops relatively slowly,and there are many problems in the process of construction.Therefore,this paper studies the configuration and use of rural kindergarten book area as the entry point.Based on the researcher’s understanding and observation of the activities in the book area,the research methods such as questionnaire(using SPSS descriptive statistics analysis method),observation method and interview method were used.This paper investigates the status quo of eight rural kindergartens of different nature in Q County,Tianshui city,Gansu province from two aspects of the allocation and use of the book area.Rural kindergartens pay little attention to the book area and teachers lack effective guidance for children’s book activities.Children’s use of the book area is limited in frequency and time,rural children lack good use habits,etc.Aiming at the problems existing in the allocation and use of rural kindergarten book area,this study puts forward the following Suggestions: First,rural kindergartens should make reasonable use of effective space to ensure the rationality of the allocation of book area,standardize the allocation of rural kindergarten books and strengthen the effective management of rural kindergarten book area by combining with the actual situation;Secondly,kindergartens should pay more attention to the book area.Teachers should teach children according to their behavior characteristics and personalized needs,and give scientific guidance.Furthermore,it is necessary to increase the time and frequency of rural children’s use of the book area,and cultivate rural children’s good habit of using books.Finally,the participation of rural parents in children’s book area should be improved.In addition,this study is helpful to enhance the existence value of rural kindergarten book area and strengthen the construction of rural kindergarten book area.
