The learning motivation is a social motive and the internal driving force for the study, which showed a strong curiosity and thirst for knowledge or to achieve some kind of achievement behavior. It is always a problem which is given attention by many educational academic researchers to investigate the students’motivation to learn the status quo and raise the efficient strategies to improve the motivation level in accordance with the status quo. In different grades, different levels and different disciplines, different times, different regions, the students’motivation to learn is also affected by many conditions and changing all the time. So motivation training strategy should change with these researches about the motivation which becomes more and more meticulous. If we just blindly copy the training strategies of the past, it not only cannot times and echoes the spirit of the new curriculum reformation, will also affect the development of education. In the point of this, this article starts to research the chemistry learning motivation of high school students.We choose city focus of high school students to be our research objects, then investigate and analysis their motivation to chemistry learning. According to our analysis result, we put forward our suggestion for creating students’motivation. In this paper there are five main parts:The first part explained the significance of the problem. This part illustrates the important function in learning of motivation and research progress at home and abroad. With our new curriculum situation, we pointed out that raising the level of motivation to learn is significant to the new curriculum.The second part is about the motivation theory and summary. This part is the preparation to the research and countermeasures afterward. Now, learning motivation research focuses on the analysis of status and theoretical measures. The study which under the guidance of different theory and in the different aspects of countermeasures improves chemical motivation level is still relatively small.The third part is the main part of this article. This part contains statistics of the questionnaire and survey results. The survey results show that the focus of high school students study chemistry chiefly based on internal motivation, and different factors affect the motivation level with grade, gender and achievement differences, which showed a certain regularity. Visibly, motivation research in the discipline field of study is of great significance.The fourth part is the core part of this paper. In this section, we put forward countermeasures to improve student chemical motivation,according to the role of different factors in the results of the survey.The last part is the summary and reflection. This section briefly describes some problems and deficiencies that exist in the research process, and expressed the desire to promote the chemical motivation research.
