Fine Art, a type of art, whose carrier is visual image, brings people a differentvisual enjoyment with its strong distinctive figure. With the limitations of traditionalteaching theory, teaching methods and teaching equipment, primary and secondary artcourse tend to overlook the visual enjoyment of fine arts through cutting them by theexternal standard and methods.Visual culture in the twentieth Century, proposesnew request in art teaching,especially in Art Appreciation Teaching,"Compulsoryeducation curriculum standard of Art (2011Edition)" clearly pointed out:"learningimage communication and exchange method, visual culture consciousness and theconstruction for the twenty-first Century creativity has become the basic orientationof contemporary art curriculum", this is the positive response of art teaching to visualculture.Based on the deep study of teaching theories and the2011art new curriculumstandards, as well as the understanding of new teaching theories and approaches, thispaper makes full use of modern methods and modern ideas, combines with their ownteaching practice, reflects on the traditional teaching mode, puts forward the artappreciation teaching "regression of art visual characteristics “as its visual artcharacteristics and tries its best to prove the necessity of "junior high school artappreciation classes that regression of art visual point" and the effectiveness ofmethods.In view of the junior middle school art appreciation teaching, from how to based onthe classroom, how to cultivate the students’ appreciation ability, to improve theeffectiveness of classroom of junior high school art appreciation on several aspects,this paper puts forward three kinds of new teaching methods, i.e. the intuitive method,evolutionary and comparative method. The paper includes four sections: the firstsection is the analysis of the necessity of teaching return to junior high school artappreciation of the visual point; the second section is the exploration of the teaching method of junior high school art appreciation, including the design of teaching goal,teaching process and methods discussion; the third section is the questions andreflection of the new method, envisage its advantages and disadvantages and makeimprovements; fourth section is demonstrated through the specific teaching case.The focus of this paper is: how to optimize the fine art class as the junior highschool appreciation in teaching "come back to the characteristics of art visual " toteach and learn more effectively. There is a long way to go for me to continue toexplore and do research, and make continuous efforts in art appreciation teachingpractice in the future.
