The ordinary high school art curriculum standard(2017 edition)clearly defined the art core literacy,"image reading","cultural understanding","aesthetic judgment","art","creative practice" and so on five core accomplishment as an educational goal,to the masses of art education workers teaching ability puts forward unprecedented challenges."Art Appreciation" is designated as a compulsory course in high school,its importance can be seen,and the art appreciation course is opened to cultivate students' core literacy.Among the five core qualities,art appreciation is the most closely related to "image reading","aesthetic judgment" and "cultural understanding".Among them,image reading literacy is the primary condition of art appreciation,and aesthetic judgment and cultural understanding are also based on image reading,which shows the importance of image reading literacy.In addition,in today's "picture reading" era,the cultivation of "image reading" literacy is also particularly important.Through investigation and literature research,the author analyzed and investigated the current situation of high school art appreciation teaching,and found that there are some current conditions inconsistent with the requirements of core literacy training in the current teaching of high school art appreciation class,as well as the problems of poor teaching effect due to the lack of effective methods of teachers.On this basis,the author puts forward the comparative appreciation method to solve the current problem of high school art appreciation teaching and to cultivate the applicability of students' "image reading" literacy.In the teaching of art appreciation class,the comparison of different levels of different art works or art phenomena can make students have a more three-dimensional understanding of art works or phenomena,which can help to improve students' "image reading" literacy.This paper takes cultivating students' "image reading" literacy as the starting point and ultimate goal,explores the use of comparative appreciation method in high school art appreciation class teaching,and provides some suggestions or causes some thinking for the teaching of front-line teachers.
