| Today, Chinese higher education has entered into the popular stage. Facing this developed background, private colleges, in order to achieve the education goal of "development of application-oriented education, training of applied talents, building of application-oriented university " must enhance their reputation and influence in the society through improving the quality of personnel training, thereby to develop their competitiveness. Development of quality of personnel training involves all aspects, among which improvement of the quality of lecture teaching is a very critical factor. Many scholars have conducted a series of studies on it. But there is still a lack of systematic research about how to establich effective quality evaluation of lecture teaching in private colleges. To improve the situation, this article takes Sanjiang University as an example for the research.On the basis of the achievements of previous studies, this article systematically discourses the concept of quality evaluation system of lecture teaching, and puts forward the new idea, that the quality evaluation system of lecture teaching means ""an entire thing of mutual contact and mutual restaint after weighing all indicators of lecture teaching" by combining the theory of social interaction, the theory of multiple intelligence with goal theory.Taking Sanjiang University as an example, this study analyses the current situation and influencial factors of the quality evalutaion system of lecture teaching of private colleges, and points out the problems of the existing system, which shows as follows:not extensive evaluation subject; not comprehensive evaluation data; not objective evaluation content; not clear feedback channels and etc.By studying the existing problems in the system and comparing the evaluation indicator system home and abraod, a number of different focuses of the quality evaluation system among private colleges and state-run colleges are defined. Based on the concepts of orientation and motivation and by making use of the collected questionnaire, it analyses the indicator system relating to teaching evaluation, such as purpose of teaching, teaching methods and teaching organizations, and studies in-depth all aspects relating to the quality evaluation system, such as the teachers’teaching and the students’learning. Meanwhile, with the help of expert advice as well as related methods, the lecutre teaching in Sanjiang University verifies and amends the system to ensure the maneuverability of the quality evaluation system of lecture teaching in private colleges.Furthermore it refines all indicators to build a completely new set of quality evaluation system of lecutre teaching, which includes different evaluation subjects and their evaluation standards and weights, the calculation of general evaluation results and feedbacks. After the study, it reaches a conclusion of an effective formula for the calculation of the evaluation results:Student evaluation results×40%+experts (peer) evaluation results×60%.The effective implementation of the evaluation system prompts teachers to strengthen the teaching contents, methods, reforms, individualized teaching, improves the effectiveness of lecture teaching and promotes student classroom behavior norms and good learning habits, so as to create a good classroom atmosphere for learning, which promotes excellent teaching style, learning style and offers the basis for the future teaching evaluation for other similar universities. |
