Mathematics learning is an issue that all students must face but currently mathematics teaching problem is that: strong teacher-led, student-led weak; students can not understand the knowledge that teachers teaching in class, some students even can not read the textbooks; logical thinking is difficult; the impression after learning is not strong. Applied advance organizer strategy to junior high school mathematics teaching, can promote the meaningful learning, provide the fixed points for new learning, so that what will be study can build on what have gained.In this study, there are three theoretical basis,Ausubel’s meaningful reception theory, constructivism theory, learning transfer theory as the basis theoretical, applied advance organizer strategy to seventh grade mathematics teaching in Yinchuan X X Middle school. Based on the advance organizer mode of Joyce’s, the author thinks that in the teaching of mathematics application of advance organizer teaching strategy, the specific steps are: teachers analyze and design advance organizers and lesson plans (including the starting point analysis of students, teaching objectives analysis, prepare the advance organizer, determine the type of advance organizers, determine the advance organizer presentation mode, how to strengthen the cognitive structure of students), showing the advance organizer and organize teaching content, and enhance the cognitive structure. Applied this method to the basic graphic teaching in experimental class, while the control group using the traditional teaching method. In the process of the experiment, observe the performance of students in two classes, at the end of the experiment, the two classes were tested, and a questionnaire survey was conducted in the experimental class. The results showed that:Advance Organizer in seventh grade mathematics teaching is feasible; most of the students like this teaching model; Applied advance organizer teaching strategies can significantly improve the interest in learning, learning motivation; can help students understand the new knowledge, can speed up the students’ problem-solving speed; can improve the average class grade.
