The curriculum reform of basic education requires that the majority of teachers timely change their teaching conceptions which has not conformed to the times development, and change their teaching behavior effectively. But it is slow in the actual teaching conflict. As for the reason, the lag of the teaching conceptions is the key factor that cannot be ignored. Therefore, we need to make further investigation and research to the current situation of teaching conceptions to promote the pace of development in the age of12of the new curricula reform in China.In view of this, based on the actual classroom teaching, the study selects the junior middle school teachers as the research object, and adopting the research methods of the combination of qualitative and quantitative to collect data in order to master the current situation of teaching conceptions of junior middle school teachers, finding out the "real" conceptions in the teaching practice, whether consistent with the "claimed". Then, on the basis of analyzing the current situation of teaching conceptions, we put up some effective strategies for the problems of teaching conceptions to further change.Finally, to the round development of the new curricula reform providea powerful reference. The main research results are as follows:From the overall, junior middle school teachers in this regionshowed the following three main concepts, which are knowledgebased concept of teaching, examination based concept of teachingand development capacity in teaching concept. They agreeinteractive orientation of teaching to a certain degree. Butindoctrination concept of teaching is still in a dominant position.From the specific point of view, on the one hand, in order tomake the outstanding achievements, the teachers of the countyjunior high school teachers still use the teaching mode of impartingknowledge and examination training. Although some teachers paymuch emphasis on education and training, hindered thedevelopment of students’ abilities in many aspects, for junior highschool students the most basic learning task is master of basicknowledge and received a certain skills training. So it is necessaryto teach junior high school students with knowledge and skillstraining. Facing the wave of teaching reform, on the other hand, theteachers pay more attention to the development of the students’ability. That meets the requirement of new curriculum reform andquality education to give. This also fully shows that the currentjunior middle school teachers has made certain achievements interms of changing teacher’s teaching concept, and has been widelyrecognized by the majority of teachers.From the above analysis we can see, the fierce collision of oldteaching concepts and new concepts force the teachers in the teaching concepts showing a great deal of contradiction. On theone hand, agree interactive orientation of teaching, on the otherhand, could not give up the indoctrination concept of teaching. Thereasons of this phenomenon are various. Faced with this dilemma,on the basis of analyzing these factors of teaching concept, thethesis also afford some advices from the teacher part and theschool part in order to facilitate the further change of teachers’teaching concepts.
