With the rising number of single-parent families,the problems theyhave are getting more and more attention from all walks of life.Becauseof the dysfunctional family label that the society gives to the singlefamilies,leading to single-parent families children’living conditionis not very optimistic.By refering to and summing up the related articlsin single-parent families at home and abroad,and the author’sresearching of single-parent families in three years.Based on T citypublic welfare student project for single-parent families,thesesingle-parent families’teenagers have many growth difficulties, such assensitive suspicious,the improper radical behavior, interpersonal,andfamily economic difficulties,parent-child relationship distance,and soon.Under the guidance of the theory,such as people in thesituation,demand hierarchy theory,treating single-parent children casesby behavior therapy, psychological therapy, rational emotionaltherapy,discovering the child’s growth demand, their advantages and thereason for the existence of the growing problem,mining the social supportnetwork around single-parent children and families,to cast a healthygrowth space for the single-parent children.
