For Chinese, home is never a fixed idea, even without a fixed form. And due tothe changes of the society,"home" in peoples’ minds are not the same in different timeperiods. In a word, family concept and family pattern have been changed amongdifferent intergenerations. In this article, the author try to use the intergenerationalcomparative perspectives to study the home in the concept of people, and the ties offamily and their marriage relationship network and the changes of patriarchy amongthree generations since the founding of People’s Republic of China.The author aimed at the following purposes: On one hand, increasing fieldstudies about family; on the other hand, Thinking of home on social change and socialnetworks,to make people consider family more rationally.Research methods used in this paper are literature, interviews and observations.Through reading and studying academic and literary works of various kinds ofdocuments, Summing up and inducing the related questions, and comparing Studiesview of different angles, Understanding the reach background, and the currentresearch status of this areas, Provide reference values for this study. In the interview,the writer draw particular emphasis on in-depth interviews to three generations of thesame family. To compare the ties of family and social relations between generations,looking for Mark wrote that times leaves for home.Through the interviews and study, the authors found there are sometransformations appear truly between different generations. The transformations are asfollows: firstly, the range of the home has become smaller and smaller, the familypattern are different in different generations; secondly, the function of consanguinityin people’s social relationship has gradually weakened, on the contrary, the marriagerelationship has become more and more widely; thirdly, Patriarchy in threegenerations are also undergoing evolution in their family, the cooperative system ofFamily rights model gradually formed from incomplete transition to maturecooperation system However, as an ancient social settings, The family has relativestability compared with other social system. Over time, some basic features have notchanged, such as the basic functions of the family and the most basic constitute elements, and so on.
