It has made the related reforms of the high school geography education by these files including The foundation education course reform outline (test), National medium and long-term education reform and development plan outline (2010-2020), The third plenary session of the eighteen and The standard of the geography course of high school (test). They are all useful to carry out the requirements for quality education, improve national quality and train qualified builders and successors for the furture of the new century. To promote the students’ learning ability, considerate ability and form correct values consciously, the geography education reform must be implemented in geography teaching activities, the tendency of paying too much attentions to knowledge should be changed.The geography textbooks are the main tools of the geography teaching classes. These traditional textbooks are serve for teachers and less considerate the students, and they also ignore to train the personality and creativity of students.Under the background of new curriculum, the geography textbook is not only to become teaching material for teachers, but also to become learning materials for students. While the current textbooks pay too much attetion on teaching, but less on learning. It is not good for the students’ learning. So the author advocate learnable of the textbook on the basis of teachable. The learnable of the Geography textbook is defined as a teaching material on attracting students, guiding students’ learning methods, inspiring students’wisdom and promoting the development of students. It reflecte in the the advanced idea、reasonable columns、 effective content、format of exquisite and narrative science.This paper includes the following five parts. This article firstly insight into the researching background, researching significance and researching status. secondly, it developed the research plans scientificly (target, contents, key problems, method, technical route,feasibility analysis, innovation, progress and achievements). Then, it defined the concept of geography textbook, mined its theoretical basis, analyzed the expression and significance. Thus sufficient cognitive geography textbook each. This paper takes the example of geography textbook which realsed by the people educational rupublishing house for analyzing of the learnable status quo, conforing the deficiency of the current geography textbook in the preparation of of each. On this basis, the paper put forward textbook writing strategy based on each perspective of high school geography. The last part summarizes the conclusion of this thesis,points out its weaknesses and disadvantages,and suggests some ideas for further research on this topic.
