Philosophy accomplishment, as an important part of comprehensive qualities, has been paid more and more attention in the advocation of quality-oriented education today. But needless to say, there still exist some problems in cultivating high school students’ Philosophy accomplishment at present. Analyzing these problems and discussing on the countermeasures to solve these problems according to the facts is not only the theoretical and practical issues to be solved in New Curriculum Reform, but also an important subject of moral education for high school students. The author will discusses this issue systematically according to the facts in this paper.Besides the introduction, the whole paper is divided into three parts:In the first part, based on the interpretation of the philosophical accomplishment connotation and characteristics, the author will discusses the significance of cultivating high school students’philosophical accomplishment. This paper holds that philosophy accomplishment includes knowledge of philosophy, philosophical ability and philosophical character. Philosophy accomplishment has critical, practical and permeable characteristics. Cultivating high school students’philosophical accomplishment is helpful to improve their humanities accomplishment, to enhance their academic thinking level and reflection ability and to promote their comprehensive development.In the second part, the author will analyze the problems in cultivating high school students’philosophical accomplishment and the causes to these problems. The author thinks that the main problems include the errors in the concept, the inappropriate goal, the narrow channels of cultivation, the unperfect evaluation system. Besides, the leading role of the teacher in cultivating students’philosophical accomplishment is not brought into full play and the initiative of high school students to raise philosophical accomplishment is not strong. These problems are the result of the interaction of various factors. The main causes are the misunderstanding of high school students’philosophy accomplishment cultivation, the spreading of utilitarian thought in education, low comprehensive quality of some teachers, the weak initiative of students to develop philosophical accomplishment.In the third part, the author will provide the countermeasures to the problems in cultivating high school students’ philosophical accomplishment. The main countermeasures include establishing correct thoughts to philosophical accomplishment cultivation, the construction of sound system for philosophical accomplishment cultivation, improving the comprehensive quality of the teachers, guiding the students to consciously strengthen the culture of philosophy and creating good cultivating environment.
