The era calls for innovation and creative people who has now become important human resources for development of many countries. Critical thinking is the premise of creative spirit and creative thinking. Therefore, the cultivation of students' critical thinking is crucial to the education of creative people.The education of high school philosophy cuts in through critical thinking and aimed at enhancing students' thinking ability and pursuing their intelligent qualifications. However, because of the constraint of traditional education concept and exam oriented education, most teachers emphasizes the transmission of theoretical conclusions rather than focusing on students'generation and development of thinking. As a result, the students barely accept the knowledge, without questioning it and their critical thinking is very weak, which goes against the cultivation of creative spirit and practical abilities.In the context of curriculum innovation and for the promotion of philosophical critical spirit and creative thought as well as the students'comprehensive development and enhancement of creativity, it is particularly important to cultivate students'critical thinking. This article regards the lecture as the breach of education innovation, and aimed at cultivating students'critical thinking in practical manner according to the curriculum'life and philosophy', in order to provide beneficial mentality and methodology.The research starts with relevant theoretical studies and indicates the definition of critical thinking and the purpose of this research via the illustration of the concept and the conventional concern and development about this theory. Secondly, this research explained the importance and necessity of cultivation of critical thinking to philosophical education, indicated the special value of philosophical education for cultivating critical thinking and evaluate critical thinking from the standpoint of philosophy. Afterwards, based on surveys and studies, the research seeks to find out the real causes of deficiency of critical thinking and corresponding strategies, categorized as follows: barriers of perception, shortages of skills, succumbing to the teachers and curriculum, monotony of teaching methodologies, counterwork of traditional culture and restriction of evaluation system. Furthermore, it is claimed that the teachers should utilize the teaching procedure of 'problem discovering, question raising, problem analysis and problem solving'in lectures as the major fields based on the general high school philosophical curriculum and seek the fundamental methodologies of cultivating students'critical thinking. The teachers should establishthe educational strategies from the following dimensions:building relaxing psychological environment, constructing enriched experiences, deeply excavating problem resources, enhancing the mental training, emphasizing practical exploration and deepen the criticism and introspection. The purpose of this is providing some beneficial methodologies of high school philosophical education and promotes the students actively pondering and develop good critical thinking abilities.Finally, the article summarizes and makes prospection of this subject.
